I wouldn't want to get in a staring contest with her, but I love getting this kind of eye contact. Total doll, totally sure of herself, we got along just fine:)

Ok, I am on a mission

In the zone....I guess:) Anyway, I have another sneak peek for a lucky mom. This just speaks for itself...which is good, because I can't step away from editing for too long or I might fall right out of the zone and over to the fridge for some ice cream:)

this little guy just makes me want to squeeze his cheeks. He is such a doll! Back to work now...gotta catch up with the whole computer fiasco:)

What a week...

Well, Friday, my computer crashed. You don't realize how your life/work is tied to your computer until it won't turn on. Luckily....I am good at backing up, so I am happy to say that I did not lose any images...just some edits. That said, I have spent every minute setting up my new computer (which is obnxious) all weekend. I say it is obnoxious, because I called my husband from the Apple store for advice...and OF COURSE...you have to go bigger. I was looking at a nice 19 inch display, but he talked me into the 24 inch. If you come in for a preview, you won't even be able to see me across the desk. BUT it is opened, so I have to keep it...

If you have orders out, they may be slightly delayed due to this issue and the fact that I have to re-edit several set of images, but I am sooo thankful that I didn't lose any sessions. Here is an image, just because it makes me smile...

I am so excited!

Within the next 3 weeks or so, I will be launching new sites for both Fancy Pants and my new senior site kellihierholzer.com. I am really excited for the coming year! I plan on doing more non-traditional senior images and of course still keep up with all my new ones, little ones, and tween ones:) Here are a couple from a recent session, we had so much fun...thanks Taylor!

Summer is Just Around the Corner

As I look at my appointment book, I realize how close we are to summer! The kids are out in just over two months...it has gone so fast. I wanted to let everyone know in advance that I will only be taking limited sessions over the summer between family vacations:) I still have lots options for sessions in April and May, but will only take 1-2 sessions per week throughout the summer.

We had some company!

We had great friends in town last weekend and I got a few shots of their daughters...who we miss so much. I told her it would be three weeks until I got to these (and it will:)) but I had to at least give her one. Thanks for coming in, it was great to see you!

Boys, boys, boys, boys

That is right....4 boys! (and a little girl at home:)
I can never promise a perfect shot. It is even harder to promise a perfect group shot. So I was a little nervous about getting a group shot, even more about getting a group shot of four...and reaaaalllly nervous about a group shot of four...boys. I have a boy, so I know what I am talking about:) But Mom...you are doing something right. These boys were as polite and helpful as I could have asked for...that means they MUST have a really great mom:) Here you go, and I actually have a few "group" shots!

Ok, I have a sneaky feeling...

that there might be an absolutely gorgeous baby coming into the world soon. Don't know why I might think that....

My oh my...

Three boys. Three personalities. Three kinds of handsome:) I know that it is stressful for many of you to come to the session. I HOPE that you leave feeling great about it. That being said...I do know that you stress over the clothes...will they smile...how is their hair...etc. I am the SAME way when I shoot my own kiddos (which they hate by the way:)), but when it all comes down to it...none of that matters so much, just look at those faces! If you have been here...you know that I don't make them smile (although I know it kills some of you), unless they really are smiley. I just want them to be themselves and have fun...and hopefully they do!

I know you have been sooo patient!

I know this mom has been patiently waiting to make sure that the kiddos had a good session. Well, they did! I love the session and they look like little models. Where do you all get these gorgeous kids?!? Keep 'em coming:) We are all in big trouble in about 5-10 years.....

Ok, mom, I know you are a little worried. I'm sorry I haven't had a chance to ease your mind sooner...but we are ok! Your kids are total cuties and they did great. I will see you soon!
