Babypalooza....

It seems like I have had nothing but babies lately, but I am not complaining...I love them. Here is another brand spankin' new one:) The monkey is watching over him because his dad calls him little monkey...how cute is that?

LIttle Miss A

It was so good to see Miss A again:) I photographed mom's maternity, her newborn, and now her one year pictures. She is an absolute doll. We gave her a full morning of photography, but we have some cute shots to show for it:) Thanks again to all the clients I am seeing for the second and third times...that is the best compliment!

Newborns...

I love to photograph them. The little wrinkles, the peely skin, even the little belly button stumps:) I love it all. They are so new and fresh and it is gone so fast. I always feel honored to capture these fleeting moments.

Speaking of adorable kids, I have had the best time this month photographing a bunch of my newborns who are coming back for their second portraits. It is so fun to see how the little wrinkled newborns have turned into kiddos:) This little guy has gotten so big and full of energy...and how cute it he??? It is such a compliment to have clients return with their children...thank you!

One I had to share...

Ok, how cute is this? Just had to share it:)

My new site is up:)

I am still tweaking things a little bit, and I will of course be adding a splash page with a client image. Which image...will be up to you. The contest will be posted in the next couple of days, and then...let the voting begin. Until then...please visit my new site, and tell me what you think:)

The other contest I talked about...I have found the most AMAZING coffee table books. They far surpass anything else I have seen, and I am going to offer them. To kick the new product off, anyone who books in April, May, or June will be entered in a drawing to receive a free book designed by me:) This is a BIG value. Ok, so I am back, but that isn't the big news. First, I have a new logo...which I love:) Second, I am having another contest for my splash page (yea!) Time has flown!

I cannot believe that I am starting back to work. The time has really gone soooo fast. My little guy is 6 weeks old already. I have appointments booked starting on April 2, and still have a few open slots in April, so give me a call if you wanting to set something up. Here is one more of my sweet little boy:) I will be back to posting clients very soon!

It's a Boy!

Our little guy decided to come early! We were scheduled for the end of the month, but he made his appearance Thursday morning. He was 8lbs 6ozs at 36 1/2 weeks, and he is a sweetie! I will post a real session with him as soon as I have the energy to do one:)

If we had order deliveries scheduled, I apologize for the delays and will try to get back on track soon. I appreciate your patience!

Beautiful baby...

and mommy too. I had this newborn last week (my last session before my leave), and he was such a cutie. I wanted to share a few to relieve mom's anxiety. He did great...

I think the next newborn you will see here, will likely be mine:)

More Siblings...

I have been really busy the beginning of this year, trying to squeeze everything in before my maternity leave. These three were great, and made it pretty easy.

Good things come in threes:)

I had some adorable sisters yesterday. I grew up in a family of 3 girls, so I know how fun, and crazy it can be. There were lots of fights, I'm not gonna lie, but we grew up to be the best of friends...I am sure the same will be true of these three.

For Me...

Sometimes there are images that I know I love right when the shutter snaps. This was one of those images. I couldn't wait to edit it, so it is the only one I have done so far for this session, but I was so excited to see it finished:) I realize that some of the shots I take leave the parents...and the kiddos...wondering what in the world I am doing, but I have to do a few for me:) Thank you so much mom (and kids) for the great session!

Newborns...

They are soooo sweet. I cannot believe that I will be having one next month. As crazy as it seems...this not being my first...I am really scared! I think I have forgotten completely what to do:) Luckily, I have had some practice lately with client's babies (not quite the same since I only have them for an hour or two). These babies were both so easy...I am crossing my fingers that mine will be easy too! I have a couple of dates still open in January and then we are scheduling April. The last bookings in January will still qualify for 20% off canvas.

I know it is too late to help this year, but I am one of those people that stresses out about what to get everyone. A few recents...

I cannot believe that Christmas has snuck up so fast. Time just seems to fly by. I have had a few recents sessions that were so sweet and I thought I would just share a few. When you have a session with a 5 year old, a 3 year old, and twins that are under a year, the planets need to align just right:) Well, they did...the session was actually a breeze and we even got the elusive group shot:)

We followed that up with a baby that just learned to crawl and he was a piece of cake too. Someone must be looking out for me and growing tummy and not making me work so hard:)

Whew!

It is almost over...the crazy Christmas rush. I know a lot of you still have orders to pick up, but I think all of our sessions for Christmas have already taken place and we are in good shape! I want to get some news out there before I forget!
